Aussirkorth, the Rime Demon

Summary

An Adult White Dragon, named Aussirkorth, appeared in The Morndin Ridge around 30 years ago. He famously had blood-red eyes and was suspected to be under some kind of demonic influence. When he settled in the area, he began terrorising the town of Thuldor as well as the local Goliath tribes, during which he collected a vast amount of Hiemal Steel and relics important to the goliaths.
The dragon has proved to be incredibly powerful, never even resorting to using its breath during a fight, though this is likely because he knows it would have little effect against hiemal steel-clad dwarves and goliaths.
Recently, these attack halted, and Aussirkorth hasn't been seen in almost 10 years, presumed to be hibernating. During this time. it was discovered he made his lair on one of the tallest peaks in the area, known as Barthounril (The Thunder Pillar), named for the call that was heard from Aussirkorth when he first flew to Thuldor from there. Attempts have been made to scale the mountain and locate its lair, but all have failed.
Citizens of The Morndin Pass fear Aussirkorth's return, knowing, if he has been hibernating, he will wake soon.

Historical Basis

Aussirkorth is actually an albino Young Red Dragon. He fled his original home in The Ersatz Mountains after being harassed by other red dragons in the area. He does not use his breath weapon, partially because of its ineffectiveness, but also to avoid others finding out about his true heritage.
