Spellcasting. Emberina is a 10th-level spellcaster. Her spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). She can cast the following spells:

  • Cantrips (at will): control flames, dancing lights, fire bolt, green-flame blade, light, prestidigitation.
  • 1st level (4 slots): burning hands, feather fall, shield.
  • 2nd level (3 slots): dragon's breath, scorching ray.
  • 3rd level (3 slots): fly, fireball.
  • 4th level (3 slots): fire shield, wall of fire.
  • 5th level (2 slots): immolation, summon draconic spirit.
Innate Spellcasting. Emberina's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 16, +8 to hit with spell attacks). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
  • At Will: mage hand.
  • 1/Day each: burning hands (at 2nd-level), flame blade.


Special Equipment. Emberina carries an Elemental Essence Shard (Fire), which is attached to the top of her quarterstaff.   Dragon Ancestor. Whenever Emberina makes a Charisma check when interacting with dragons, her proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check.   Draconic Resilience. When not wearing armor, Emberina's AC equals 13 plus her Dexterity modifier.   Elemental Affinity. When Emberina casts a spell that deals fire damage, she adds 4 fire damage to one damage roll of that spell.   Sorcery Points (10/Day). Emberina has a number of sorcery points, which she can use to fuel the following abilities. She can only add on effect to a spell at a time (unless otherwise stated):

  • Magical Guidance. When Emberina makes an ability check that fails, she can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll the D20, and must use the new roll.
  • Empowered Spell. When Emberina rolls damage for a spell, she can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll up to 4 of the damage dice. She must use the new rolls (this ability can be used alongside other options).
  • Heightened Spell. When Emberina cast a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw to resist its effects, she can spend 3 sorcery points to give one target of the spell disadvantage on its first saving throw made against the spell.
  • Quickened Spell. When Emberina casts a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, she can spend 2 sorcery points to change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.
Elemental Essence Shard (Fire). When Emberina uses one or more sorcery points on a spell, one target of the spell that she can see catches fire. The burning target takes 2D10 fire damage at the start of its next turn, and then the flames go out.

Actions
