Civilization and Culture

History

The early mountain ranges of the world were dangerous, known to be home to the first giants to walk the earth. When adventurers and scholars first attempted to ascend these lands in attempts to reach where they believed the land of the gods to exist, they instead discovered the goliaths.
It is unknown how the race first came into being. Some scholars believe them to be distant relatives of stone giants, whereas others believe them to be related to earth genasi in some way. Regardless of their origin, they are known for being a nomadic people, preferring the high-reach places of the world which their bodies are acclimatised to.
