They appears in almost all major settlements across the continent, but can also be found in a small number of dedicated halfling settlements, mostly located in The Menagerie Hills.
The most common subrace of halfling is the lightfoot halfling, which refers to those of the race with a family history steeped in travel. These halflings tend to live more nomadically, settling in a town or city for a number of months or years, before the wanderlust takes them again to some place new. preferring

History

Halflings are one of the youngest races in the world, appearing towards the end of The First Era. It is believed that halflings appears in the world at a single location, though many debate where this may be, however due to the halfling's love of travel and adventure it wasn't long before they spread across the entire globe. These days, halflings continue that love of travel, integrating themselves with wider societies with their own settlements never growing too large as a result. They are a well-respect race in most places and are famed for their sense of community and joyful natures.
