Ecology and Habitats

Concordia. Hobgblins are common across much of The Menagarie Hills, although bands are occasionally seen across the more northern territories. Individuals can be found within settlements, particularly the cities in the south like Auchendow and Stanrigg. Typically, lone hobgoblins are well met, however those who meet larger groups do so cautiously as their intentions are not always chivalrous.

Civilization and Culture

History

Hobgoblins share many similarities to their smaller cousins, originally coming to the world from The Feywild during The First Era, having been sent The Queen of Air and Darkness herself. During this time, when goblinoids were largely considered enemies of more civilised races, hobgoblins leant into their more martial heritage, forming fearsome war-parties which instilled terror in those who came into contact with them. Since this time, hobgoblins have integrated themselves within society, either as individuals bringing the feywild's principle of reciprocity to the material plane or more commonly as united groups, functioning as organised militia.
