Ecology and Habitats

Concordia. Many of orcs of the continent live within The Menagarie Hills where they compete for martial dominance against the resident hobgoblins. Among these, many find themselves members of The Wild Riders where they can sufficiently exercise this rivalry. Outside of the hills, orcs can be found in small numbers living in more isolated tribes as well as in various settlements further north, where (while they do stand out due to their stature) they integrate themselves with other races, taking advantage of their inherent strength to carry out jobs weaker folk would struggle with.

Civilization and Culture

History

Orcs were once a solely savage race. They were sent to the world by their creator (Gruumsh, the Ruiner) to pursue the elves which had settled in the world after a battle between the orc god and Corellon, the Arch Heart, the creator of the elves. During The First and Second Eras, the orcs would mercilessly hunt elven travellers as well as raid their early settlements. In spite of this, they did form relationships with other races, most notably humans, resulting in the birth of the half-orc. These days, orcs can be found in both the civilised and wild places in the world, with most tribes choosing to remain true to their primitive roots while others choose to live among other people, though those who do occasionally have to pay mind to their past with any elves to come across.
