Material Characteristics
Shadowsilk is a soft, dark-black material. It is used in to create lightweight clothing items.
Physical & Chemical Properties
Meld with Shadow. While wearing clothing made from shadowsilk in an area of dim light or darkness, the wearer can take the hide action as a bonus action.
Fragile Fabric. If the wearer is hit with an attack which deals piercing or slashing damage, fabric is becomes damaged. After becoming damaged three times, the garment looses its Meld with Shadow ability.
History & Usage
History
Shadowsilk was created through the selective breeding of magically created, black silkworms. These days, the silkworms are not commercially available and might only be found in black markets or similar circles.

Trade & Market
Shadowsilk is available to members of The Silver Hand. The guilds also has an external seamstresses, who can produce tailored pieces for them, or occasionally other clients.
