The city of Azure Rock was founded by a shadowy figure many centuries ago

The city of Azure Rock was founded by an unknown wizard many centuries ago, on a remote island off the mainland. This island was home to strange blueish-purple gems that gave the city it's name. These gems houses great stores of mysterious power.   No one is around today to say who the wizard was, or why they knew to come to this island.
