Despite the capital city's location atop the Heights of Atavis, Atavis is considered "Avalon métropolitaine", or the city center. Home to over 1.2 million of Anima's souls, Atavis is the oldest populated city in all of Avalon with its founding in the first year of recorded Avalonian history.
