Cherith Starling Riviere is one of the original Riviere siblings, Queen of the riverside kingdom of Starling and a Racine in her own right as living spirit of the river Starling, from whence she gets her name. Cherith is credited with single handedly creating the city of Túr Spoondrift during the catastrophe of An Riomh when her water met the lava of Feall Síoraí and two pure forces of life mixed. Though the warrior monk serves as a member of the Sealgairí Fola, Découverte, and The Reminiscentia, her primary pursuit is tending to the waters of Anima alongside her siblings.

Cherith is married to Queen Authochthe Alluvium-Riviere and together the two are the mothers of preternatural geologist and Decouverte operative Cameo Alluvium-Riviere and siblings Chatelaine Mignonet Locket Aeluin, Argent Monvoisin, Signet Marlais, and Spinel Viorel.
