Naming Traditions
Even when found in the wild or raised in an enclosed environment, it is the great pride of a dragon to name itself upon hatching — to “name” a dragon is a terrible disrespect.
Common Taboos
- Misnaming a dragon, ie calling it anything other than its own chosen name or accepted diminutives, is considered an enormous insult amongst dragons. Similarly, calling a dragon by a nickname or moniker without its permission is equally offensive.
