Magical Preternaturalism

Magical preternaturalism, or simply “preternaturalism,” is the academic study of the natural and magical properties of the sister realms of Anima. The field includes oceanography, cartography, pharmacology, linguistics, philosophy, anatomy, genealogy, and a myriad of other offshoots which help explain the world around us.

Social Impact

Preternaturalists are deeply revered and valued by the myriad communities of Anima - their bravery and curiosity has led to the explanation of several natural (and more to the point, unnatural) wonders and subsequent technological and medical advancements within the confines of its sister realms.

Inventor(s)

The first documented magical preternaturalist was Sojourne Seiliegh , who in fact defined the field.
