Nix (Nicks)
The Nix were created by the Racine Authochthe Alluvium-Riviere in approximately 2900 EG/LL - they began as sculptures crafted with Alluvian clay, and as the legend tells us the power and memory at Authochthe Faultless' fingertips brought them to life as she worked. As a race, the Nix are a preternaturally beautiful, graceful race with figures similar to those of Mortelle men, often with a proclivity for nature, stargazing, and preternatural study.

Common Dress code
Regardless of ethnicity, Nix fashion is heavily inspired by both Ecclesia Organica and Ecclesia Cridhe, drawing from Avalonian and Broceliandic textiles and enchantments on a daily basis.
Traditional Hairstyles Nix of all genders take great pride in their hair. The influence of a culture of simultaneous devotion and work is immediately recognizable regardless of length or color, as Nix traditionally wear their hair away from their face, held back by intricate networks of braids, flowers, and precious metals; restrained by jeweled hairnets or other jeweled ornaments, traditionally Animist or Burgessian in origin. Traditionally, the more ornate the style and decoration, the wealthier and older the family. Hair color tends to vary slightly according to ethnicity, though colors notably span the entirety of the spectrum. Traditional Textiles While the Nix utilize common textiles like cotton, muslin, lace, and silk in their clothing, they prefer to include living elements wherever possible: lace moss, ivy, vines and branches, foliage, animal bones, and other by products such as feathers and scales are ethically collected following being subject to the appropriate rites of thanks.
