Brass Bracelet
Meta Quote: The picture of the hospital wrist band in the sidebar, is of me wearing one. I didn't deliberately hurt myself to get one. It was coincidental.
Benjamin: Good to see that you can eat and walk. How’s the back?
Thomas: A little sore I can’t move my arms much.
Benjamin: I wouldn’t force yourself to.
Thomas nods. Benjamin: Can I have one of your wrists?
Thomas gives his left wrist and Benjamin measures it, nodding he puts on a brass bracelet on to his left wrist. Thomas rolls it around his wrist, curious. Benjamin: It's to mark that you are a patient here and not a visitor. Can I trust you to keep it on while you're in our care?
Thomas nods his agreement.

I like how you came up with an equivalent for the hospital bracelet in your world. I suspect that the materials we make ours out of aren't available in this setting, but I'm curious as to how they arrived at brass, sepecifically.
