Dragon Scales

Concept and Written By James Woodwright. Brainstorming by Flubb and Edited by WriterGreg.
Dragon scales is a type of stone that is characterised by its dark grey colour. When the rock face is hit using a pickaxe the stone breaks away in what looks like dragon scales. These pieces generally, come in as big as 10 cm (3.93 Inches) and as small as 5 cm (1.97 inches). It is 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) thick. The rock can then be smoothed down and carved to make sheets and then to make Glyphs.   The stone is found commonly on the island of Willinghurst Cray, in its mountainous regions in which it is mined. When it is mined it is often found with veins of native copper embedded within it.
