Runic Studies

Runic studies are the study and the use of rubies to make a certain process happen. Within the University it is the trade that makes things work without the use of our science. A good example of this is a copper funnel that has no obvious changes like a filter or other obstruction but due to the runes on the side can filter the water to make it distilled. Something that can't be done using our science.
The runes are in recognisable characters that are nordic, greek or mathematical in look. While inscribed in straight lines if translated to English or other languages it wouldn't be an understandable language, but rather in words that would be similar to programming languages.

Technicalities

While paper can be used it is a medium to store or to plan the ideas for runes. The runic program will not run until it is inscribed onto metal or other medium or material.
