Calm Minds
When a practitioner uses Clam minds, they reach out to sentient minds in the area and force a sense of zen calmness regardless of their original state. All affected creatures refrain from combat and all spell or spell like functions that cause fear or hysteria are neutralized. This calm is in effect for 3 rounds and affects a 60 ft, visible radius.
The marital artist must give up 1 full round to initiate the zen calm. The martial artists makes a Charisma check for each affected creature - failure means the creature is not affected by Calm Minds.
Each Charisma check is adjusted by their alignment variance from the martial artist. For example, if the martial artist is true neutral (neutral-neutral) and is using Calm Minds against a creature who is Chaotic Evil, the check has a -2 penalty (-1 because Chaotic is 1 "step" from neutral and another -1 because evil is 1 "step" away from neutral.)
