​​The Green Father is the symbol of growth, life and refreshment throughout Alcirya. But, as full of vigor and energy as the Green God is, their is a deep sadness pervasive in their belief. Followers of the Old Man have but one task: to rectify, to bring balance to the new creation (sentient life) and that of the old (the natural universe). They seek for the elements of creation to reach a point of respect and mutualism that would allow for the universe, with all of its diversity, to come to a happy harmony accepting and making a place for all elements of creation. The sadness that is sensed, sometimes anger, is that this - in the heart of hearts of all of his followers - is an impossible task. With the inevitable march and advancement of sentient life, the development of cities and technology, the hunger for more grows until it consumes all things. The followers of Al-Vingaar, are no better. In their zeal to pervert the creation (which, in and of itself simply creates diversity, not really a problem for followers of Tsu-Tao) they are more than happy to subjugate and destroy the old creation as well. They see what was put forth as something to rape and destroy as they would the makings of man. ​​
