Psion
Psionics (Chi) in Alcirya are a gift that is given straight from the ether. The belief, for most, is that psionics are much like faith magic but in a raw untamed sense. Because of this psionicists are hunted and killed in the realm of Appollonia and are revered as prophetic beings in most other cultures. Psions, as they are known, themselves don’t fully understand their power - they will something to be done and it is accomplished (most of the time). Some Psions accept and cultivate this power and become formidable, trained, opponents. Some are raw talents that have learned to shape the power that flows from them intuitively.
Weapons
May use any small or medium size weapons, however, they do not like physical weapons.
Armor
Any, but penalties are applied according to the table.
Followers & Strongholds
At 9th level Psions attract followers: 1 Psion (1st or 2nd level) arrives each month (max followers equals the Psions Charisma score unless no sanctuary is built, then it is halved). The Psion must spend at least 10 hours a week training these followers.
At 9th level a psionicist (contemplative master) can build a sanctuary.

Psionic Powers
For greater details, see Psionics (Chi) rules.
Starting powers: 1 science and 3 devotions. The number of devotions must always be twice the number of sciences in that discipline.
The first discipline is considered the Primary Discipline and it must always have more sciences and devotions than any other discipline chosen. Defense modes are not part of the Psion's total powers. The number of defense modes that can be learned is based on the characters level.
Any check for any power can be improved by spending an additional devotion/science slot on the same power.
A Psion must find a person or writing to train for new powers. Training requires (21 - Wis. Score) weeks. After 7th level, a Psion can train themselves at a cost of twice the time.
