Spirit Burst
Martial artists can train their chi/psp to build into one single chi supernova - they expell their chi/psp into the surrounding area damaging creatures with the supersaturation of chi/psp. While hamrful to creatures int he prime material plane, this burst is especially harmful to extra-planar creatures and undead.
The martial artist must have their chi resevoir full when they initiate the Spirit Burst and they will expend all their chi/psp in the process of using the power. The Spirit Burst creates a radiant field around the martial artist that is only visible to extra-planar creatures, undead, and those using magical/psionic detection spells/abilities. The Burst lasts for 1 round for every 20 chi/psp used and no chi/psp will remain when complete - "extra" chi/psp are lost. The Burst extends in a 30 ft. visible radius. All creatures within the are of effect are blinded and takde d6 pts. of damage each round unless a saving throw versus spells is successful. An affected creature must continue to make saves each round they are within the area of affect, however, the number of rounds of Blindness are not cumulative (although the effect could wear off and be re-initiated). Extra-planar and undead creatures take 2d6 pts. of damage per round and cannot leave the area of effect unless their saving throw (the same as other affected creatures) is successful.
It lasts for 1 rd. for every 10 chi present (rounded down). Area of effect is 30 ft’ radius. All creatures in the radius must save vs. spell or be blinded for 1d6 rds. All negative planar creatures take 2d6 pts. of damage in the first round and 1d6 per round thereafter. They can not leave the area of effect unless a save vs. spell is made.
