Wendar

One of the few Sebaste cities that rests on the forest floor, Wendar is a farming/trade community that is responsible for the upkeep and care of the Steps of Halvan on the Eastern poprtion of the Sebaste.
Recently, Wendar suffered (drought, famine, violence) under the oppresion of the invading force from New Denagoth (to the north). The cause for this was the loss of a powerful item (stolen by the traiterous Camla the Thief and her compatriots Anandi and Bernhart), the Elvenstar, which was used by Lord Gylharen to maintain Wendar's prosperity. Thankfully, the Elvenstar has been returned by Anton Dagonheart and companions and the city is secure once more.
Wendar is marked by a central citadel which is the home of Duke Gylharen.

Rulership: The enigmatic Duke Gylharen. His lineage is unknown to most. Gylharen seeks council from Bensarian the Hermit who has great influence over Gylharen's decisions.
