Cila Colkyre

From Herself: Greetings, my name is Cila. I find writing these things...difficult. You'll notice I am Shadar-Kai, but I am sure only because I am drawing attention to myself. Many prefer to avoid my gaze, or avoid me entirely.

My family... We won't talk about. The Wanderlight Carnival is the closest thing to home I have, but they can only teach so much. Hence, why I am here. To learn.

Because, right now, I have so much rage pent up, and the only things that seem to soothe it are sweet pain and the melodic tones of music. My act involves both. My dances in the darkness, my voice following the rhythm, and my own blood traveling my skin, almost as if it were tattoos.

Here, I've formed an advocacy group with my tiefling companion, to try to give voices to those of us who are seen as less. Sometimes we perform as a band. You wouldn't have heard of us; we're not mainstream.

Is that enough? Damn, I hate these things...
