The Last Moments of San Fran

The Last Moments of San Fran   The shadow was enough to block the sun, but as they fell towards the earth we could tell they too were yellow. Some with cowboy hats, some surgical caps. Some were bankers with little ties, others sheriffs with badges, firemen with fake metal hats, but at terminal velocity, they were all deadly, deadly rubber duckies.   The yellow rubber was red hot, nearly flaming as it ripped through Susan's chest, her blood cooking from the heat as it blasted onto the ground behind her. And then it was too late. I took cover inside but they started to rip through roofs and upper floors. Burning rubber destroyed wood, glass, stone and flesh. I ran and tried to cover but it was of no use, in a matter of seconds everything was gone and in my final moments I looked up to see an orange bill.
