There are two major banks, and the kingship flips between the two houses, they have tried to unify many times in the past, but it never happens, now they try again.
Both major families are Minotaurs and the city is majority Minotaur, but many races call the city home. It is a haven for merchants and skilled artisans.

Toíchoi, meaning "walls," is a fortified island city renowned for its colossal walls that protect it from the relentless storms common to the region. Despite the fierce weather, the city’s intricate drainage systems prevent flooding, making Toíchoi a haven for commerce and artisanship. The city is dominated by two powerful Minotaur houses, each controlling one of the island's two major banks. Historically, the kingship alternates between these two houses, with many attempts at unification through political alliances and marriages. However, despite centuries of efforts, unification has never been achieved. Today, a new attempt is being made to bring the two houses together, but old rivalries persist.
Though Minotaurs make up the majority of the population, Toíchoi is also home to a diverse array of races. Its strategic location and thriving banking sector attract merchants and skilled artisans from across the realm, making it a bustling center of trade and craftsmanship.
