Made of Copper, the copper piece is the lowest denomination of money for the major continent of Ethae. It is often shortened to cp when written. 10 copper coins is equal to 1 Silver Piece.

While most nations have a common term for coins, such as silver pieces nearly always called sterlings, copper pieces go by many names throughout Ethae and beyond. For example, in Anbar the copper piece as known as 'seelies', while in Novyum they are called 'pence'. In the trade routes of the Cota ocean they are known as pennies.
