God

Gods, otherwise known as Deities, are all-powerful entities who exist beyond mortality. Drawing their power from the souls of the worshipers who pledge loyalty to them, they are also capable of empowering themselves through the domains they represent and hold. The most powerful gods worship concepts that can exist without worshipers, and most gods are largely immortal save for a few key occurrences that can end their lives, such as another god going to war with them. The actions and will of the gods reverberate through the planes, and as such, they are incapable of actively traversing the planes for fear of overwhelming and destroying the very landscape around them with godly power, similar to radiation.

Gods are capable of mating with humans by summoning an "Aspect" of themselves, a small spark of divinity through which they can channel their will and experience the world. As such, this can cause their mortal dalliances to breed Aasimar and Divine-blessed bloodlines of sorcerers.
