A secret society comprised of Magda Tormevi, Onesta Silver, Niceto Tormevi, and Adela Rummi, who plotted to overthrow Queen Agnes Tormevi and her consort, and establish a joint Milani-Ionian ruling scheme.
Laren Ovresti, current ruling king of Iona, is often (incorrectly) believed to have had a part in the rebellion. If this was correct he would be the last remaining member of the society and would have a solid reason behind his nickname. Though the allegations are indeed false (especially as he actively fought against his mother), he's long since given up dissuading people from using it.

Disbandment
After the partial failure of their objective, Magda took the fall and was executed for the murder of her family members. Two years later, Onesta "discovered" the part that Niceto and Adela had played and, using her son Laren as a figurehead, had them executed as well.
