Material Characteristics

Avross is a small, delicate flower that can be blue, purple, or white. The blossom about the size of a quarter, with seven teardrop-shaped petals. The stem is about two inches tall, the width of a baby spoon handle, and usually has two to three smooth-edged leaves growing from it.

Geology & Geography

Avross grows in The Hylands, particularly around the capital city, which takes its name from the flower. It's found in open areas that get a lot of sun.

History & Usage

Everyday use

Most of the time it's simply admired. Some young girls grow it in windowsill flower pots, because it's surprisingly hardy and easy to grow.
Some healers have also discovered that it's good for easing both external and internal irritation (e.g. rashes, sore throats, etc.).
