Spintriae

Spintriae are an occult currency which comes in 4 different denominations: Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold. They were first used by Cult artisans, and were standardized in a few Histories. Nowadays, they are made and distributed by the The Unflinching Order. Beyond their value as ingredients for Rites, Spintriae can be used to buy language lessons from patrons, and to pay for the materials to fix broken Tools. They can also be auctioned for a fair amount of funds. Iron spintriae are the lowest denomination, and display scenes of murder on their reverse side. Bronze spintriae usually display the act of shaping on their reverse side. Silver spintriae are more valuable, and usually display scenes of debauchery on their reverse side. Gold spintriae display scenes that are not visible to mortal eyes on their reverse side.
