Lynuri

The Lynuri are contected in the blessing of the moon or Lycanthropy. Werebeasts all, it is the form of their lunar beast that is connected to social standing. Wererats are the lowest, followed by Were-boars, Were-foxes, Were-Bears, and at the top Were Wolfs. Of cource Lynuri call them Wodici, Hordici, Candaci, Leoni, Fekini.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

All households have spare clothes for any poor werebeast turned from beast to mortal without clothes, and attacking anyone who gave you clothes is punished by banishment.

Coming of Age Rites

Adulthood is marked by the first werebeast transformation, happening around eighteen to twenty-two for a human werebeast. After transforming, the werebeast is blessed by sage of Zeffon, in both mortal and beast form.

Funerary and Memorial customs

Bodies are cremated, and the ashes buried under moonlight.

Common Myths and Legends

The Mythical Monarch Celken who was blessed with the form of the wolf from Fze-Zeffon, to reclaim the throne from the Undead, and formed the realm of Cekelim. While the past is distant, All Lynuri monarchs claim descent from one of Celken's four children.
