Yuan-Ti

Yuan-Ti are not a species per say as they are transformed mortals once, human, dwarf, or other but now wear cold scales as flesh. Outside of the southern half Kel Oth, Yuan-Ti are rare but in the lands of Othaal the ruling class are only Yuan-Ti. The Scaled folk are granted their form by Sabin according to ability, and if they show improvement they might be granted a greater form by ritual simlaly to the one that changes a mortal in to a Yuan-Ti. The ritual to change warm mortal flesh in to chilled scale can only be used on a willing mortal, but the promes of Saben's wealth means that their is no shortage of vonteres.

The highest form of beauty is the form of the snake, espaclely the form of the cobra, kingly with its hood. The next best form of beauty is the crocodile perfect and unchanged by the whims of time.
