Paris Catacombs

The Paris Catacombs are a network of underground tunnels and chambers located beneath the city of Paris. They contain the remains of over six million people and are said to be the world's largest grave. The Catacombs were created in the late 18th century as a solution to the city's overcrowded cemeteries. Today, the Catacombs are a popular tourist attraction, although access to certain parts is limited. The dark and mysterious atmosphere of the Catacombs makes it a fascinating and macabre destination for visitors to Paris.
