Ander Goodbarrel
A small time charlatan turned hero of the layman, Andor Goodbarrel is a halfling from northwest plains of Solaris. He traveled to Azuros originally looking for adventure and excitement, but after his adventuring party broke apart due to infighting and lack of distinct leadership, he settled the city preying off the various inn and tavern patrons with his unnatural luck.

Personal history
Ander comes from a very large family of halflings, the Goodbarrel family. As a young halfling he was always looking for ways to cheat and trick his cousins, siblings, aunts and uncles during various games. He used his quick fingers, and quick wit to swindle his way to whatever he wanted. He decided to attend a wizards college to learn some magic in hopes it would help him better his craft. There he specialized in Divination as he found being able to manipulate fate by predicting the future was very profitable at games of chance. After only learning the bare minimum to graduate, Ander left to explore the world and see what new riches his new found talents could bring him.
Education
Ander studied at a small wizards college at the edges of the Elyhodorei Enclave. He was a troublesome student, forever pulling pranks on fellow students and teachers alike. In his downtime, rather than studying, he would always sneak off to the local drinking holes to gamble and share stories with travelers. He relied solely on his natural intuition to get him through a basic education in magic, and graduated with an emphasis in Divination, originally the school he thought would be the easiest, but ended up pairing well with his aptitude for games of chance.
Employment
Ander is currently the owner of a popular Tavern, The Bouncing Barrel, where he is hailed as a hero of the people of Azuros for his "selfless" acts of fighting for the layman. He spends most of him time gambling and drinking with his patrons, and lets his staff run most of the day to day.
