Rorick
Rorick grew up in a small outland elven community called Alari with his mother and family of half-siblings. He never met his father and his mother did not talk about him, other than little snippets here and there. He gathered that he was a traveling magician, tall and handsome and charismatic as well as gifted. Rorick was old enough to be on his own, but used the community as a home base of sorts, coming and going on adventures from there, as he liked the sense of family and security and familiarity.
While on a search party for a younger half-sibling Evien who had run away (kidnapped?), a hoard descended upon the elven community and destroyed it, leaving no survivors. Seeing the flames of destruction from afar, Rorick was not able to return in time to save anyone. Angry and frustrated, he decided to continue on his search for his half-sibling, and other members of his community who were away at the time, while trying to find the traitor(s) who he suspects had been involved in the betrayal of his home.
He was very close to his family and misses them. His dagger is from home, the one thing he had on him when the community was burned down.
