The Ferals
Employed by The Order of the Glowing Dawn, this group of highly trained military specialists is used as a hunt to kill unit. The Ferals are comprised of skinchangers of various types used for their individual strengths. The Archwarrior commands The Ferals directly when The Open Lord of Amberfall deems them necessary for any given mission. Their primary function is to hunt and track anything from high-value individuals to stolen property. They are highly obedient and very proud to serve Amberfall. Each member is recruited as soon as they show signs of skin-changing. Most times when a child transforms into an animal, the parents immediately make The Open Lord aware, as being a Feral is one of the highest honors in the Amberfaen Military.
The members of The Ferals are:
1. Indrik of the Blue. His ability to change into a dire wolf is highly useful to The Ferals if they need to track an individual by scent.
2. Noira of the Sun. Changing into a Swift Eagle, Noira's flight and speed are necessary for traveling long distances to gather information on a target or surveying land.
3. Rydel the Spotted. Stalking a target is key to learning their plans and for their eventual takedown.
4. Amethyst the Sly. The ability to communicate and convince any animals in the surrounding area to help in her cause is Amethyst's specialty. Everyone trusts the fox.
5. Mordekai Willowbrow. Mordecai has devastating strength as an ent, this combined with his connection to nature and ability to gather information from plants and trees gives him a high spot in The Ferals.
Their targets are mainly wrongdoers and those that would incite war or harm on peaceful individuals. The Archwarrior is in command, but The Open Lord and the council of Amberfall are really the one who dictate who is hunted, what information is found and discussed, and who is killed.
