Uthorhilium
Uthorhilium is the name for raw and unrefined Uthorhil, a crucial part of Turunakian Dwarven culture and history.
Deep within the Turunak Mountains, during the reign of Queen Nazzoulda Oredigger, the initial construction of Turukaar was well underway. Leading a team of miners, the Queen discovered a vein of ore unlike any she had seen. The ore was cold to the touch on one side and unbearably warm on the other. Purifying the ore was an arduous task for even the most skilled smelters. No one had seen an ore like this. But once complete the bars it yielded were of a blue-green shade that held a slightly luminous quality.
Having discovered the ore Nazz was able to name it. Deciding to name it after her brother Uthor, a well-renowned battlemage, for his unshaken tenacity, Nazz thought to take it one step closer to her brother and enchant the bars of Uthorhil. Nothing like this had ever really been tested. All manner of magical experiments had been made on the unrefined Uthorhilium ore. Mixing with Iron, Steel, and even Mithril, the ore always seemed to take what was there and make it stronger. It was susceptible to magical influence and able to house enchants and magic sigils.
This discovery helped refine the construction of The Sovereign City of Turukaar. Much of its foundation is built with Uthorhilium infused building blocks. The veins of ore were found to be abundant around the city, as such the Uthorhilium began to see everyday use in Turukarian life. Statues, buildings, and even weapons were crafted using the godsent ore propelling the Dwarven culture ahead financially of neighboring cities and people.
