Bookbinders, Scribes, & Illuminators
Books are frequently borrowed in order to be copied, so a rental period would range from a year to a year and a half. A rental fee is of 1 copper every two days, thus to copy one would be at least 130 to 200 copper. To have a scribe copy a book would cost 1 copper per page. An illuminator would ask 6 to 8 cop for minor decorations throughout a book, then between 5 to 10 copper per full page illumination. A bookbinder would ask 10 cop to bind the whole thing together. Scribes would also have ink, parchment, quills, charcoal, and seals available to sale.
To buy a map from a cartographer would start at 12 copper.
