The Lightshield Council

Many hundreds of years ago, the greatest heroes of the age gathered together to end an ancient evil.
The heroes who joined the council were lead by the great wizard Fandantulus, among their number are:

• Heswir the Dwarven Smith.
• Kallahym A’wosim a gnomish wizard and scholar.
• Gailafenis an Elven Princ, the heir of the Eladrin.
• Welsun Thron a warrior-king of the human tribes of the Eastern Shores
• Tievalda Bruska First Paladin of Minerva
• Farrik Lothran the Shadowstep, famed halfling adventurer
• Nocta Tarsh the weaver wizard, who specialised in the magic of summoning
  

History

At the end of the Age of Heroes, a great evil stirred in the world. Rising to stop it, the great wizard Fandantulus gathered together the most powerful and influential individuals of the time.
Though they tried all they could to battle this evil force, it was for naught, and so they had to rely on the doing something incredibly dangerous. It worked and the world was saved but the cost was very high and the risks for the future untold.

Disbandment

After defeating the outer evil, the Lightshield Council faded from the world, its members disappearing over the next few years and passing into legend.
