The Shard of Minerva

Long ago, before the Kingdoms of Men were established, when the tribes fought tooth and nail for existence in a hard world, Minerva looked upon the humans and saw much that she loved, within the tribes, she saw one who could act as her hand on Allatar, and granted a tiny portion of her soul to the Warrior Queen Breykka, who became the first Cleric of the Goddess of War.
The soul shard was forged within the head of a mighty golden Warhammer. Thought lost when Breykka fell in battle with the unknowable creatures of the Outer Dark, the Warhammer, known as the Shaft of Minerva was said to possess a will of its own that would help drive its bearer towards glorious combat.
