After the Shura Kidnapping arc, Azrenas revealed he had been charmed by Vozgan for many years. He wants his revenge. Moz successfully charms him into taking the party back to Kucca.
After the battle of Kucca, Azrenas takes command of the invading Army after Vozgan's death. This was payment for releasing him from the spell cast over him from Vozgan. He declared they are now even and took the Army back to Avernus.
