Fuchsillade

Fuchsillade is a vine that has pink/purple teardrop- or bell-shaped flowers along it. Among the stamens in the center of the flower is a cluster of needles that fire out in all directions when the plant senses a living creature nearby (warmth, not motion, is the trigger), requiring a DC11 CON saving throw to avoid falling unconscious if struck.

As Fuchsillades are mainly found in swamps, that often equals a drowning death, creating food for the roots of the vine.
