Rune craft

Rune craft is a skill based around etching symbols into objects and materials, runes pull in small amounts of raw magic and element to produce a magical effect. There are two differing specialised ways of creating and using runes one from the Dwarves, where they draw in smaller amounts of power from the material and elemental planes in their runes.And another from the Gnomes where they grasp for any sourse of power from fey to material, they even combine these allowing for more 'wild' and varied affects which are hard to master and very mysterious, Dwarven Rune crafters look down on this way of etching as unproper and dangerous.
