Altus Nyx Alavir

Altus Nyx Alavir is the Captain of The Crimson Count and one of the Pirate Lord's of the Queen's Court. He is an exceptionally young captain, at least at first glance. He often acts as young and inexperienced to throw off those who might try to take advantage of such things. In truth he is nearly as old as the vessel he sails upon having been their captain since the Crimson Count was still a vessel without a Spirit. He was once a student at the Academy of Roseweald but forsook academia in exchange for the open seas. When the Crimson Count, the Vampire version of them, arrived upon the decks of the ship he offered them safe harbor in exchange for Vampirism of his own.
Now an Immortal with a ship and crew he sailed for the Sunfire Archipelago and began a centuries long endeavor of raiding the coast and sinking vessels. He only eventually met his match when going up against the Red Royal, against whom he finally had to raise the white flag. He was spared and took a far more lax approach to raiding, and establishing a code for himself. He allows those who surrender to live and will deliver them to a safe port, in exchange for blood along the way.
He is friends with Yin Lian and maintains a casual relationship with the other members of the Pirate Queens Court. He also has a Parrot Familiar named Snappy.
