Cthulu, Lord of Madness

The Eldest of the Elder Gods, Cthulu is the oldest known being in our world. He is a monstrous creature who lurks within the depths of the Worlds oceans and its darkest pits. He is the Lord of Madness and Insanity and when he finally emerges onto the land he will bring with him destruction and death of a level untold in all of history.
His cults maintain that their master is asleep, waiting for the day that he will emerge and raze the world. His cults are tolerated until they become violent, as their presence deters other followers of Elder Gods.
Cthulu has spawned many children that have appeared throughout the oceans of the world, fragments of his mighty being that draw upon his power.
