A species of Dragon previously thought only to be stemmed from Gold Dragons ascending to Great Wyrms. They are among the most powerful of all Dragons, just below the Platinum Wyrm himself.

Civilization and Culture

History

Diamond Dragons were originally Gold Dragons who had been Blessed by Bahamut into becoming Diamond Great Wyrms, residing within the Platinum Wyrm's Hoard and Vault upon Mount Celestia. The only one that is known to have resided upon the material Plane is Galaphael the Brilliant, who was the Gold Dragon that Bahamut blessed with the last vestiges of his power so that he could battle Malgeron.
Now the Draconic Hatchling Ykiza has been born with the same Diamond Scales as the ancient Legends.
