Felwild Infections

The Felwild is a place of infection and corruption. It is a disease upon the Feywild that the Fey themselves cannot remove, though it can be contained. The Felwild and the creatures that inhabit it are toxic to life and will attack any who enter or come near their domain. These twisted fey are hideous reflections of what they once were.
These creatures can infect the mortal races if they injure them. The Felwild Infection in a mortal can lead to madness, immense suffering with no respite and possibly death. The skin, hair and internal organs near the point of infection will rot and decay. The cure for this infection lies only with Elder or Arch Fey. While the Fey can cure this infection it often comes at the cost of service to said Fey.
