Grug

An Ogre with abnormal intelligence, Grug was found by the Chaotic Seven as a member of a raiding trio led by a Hill Giant. When the Seven killed his commander he begged his brother to surrender but failed to convince him, and following his death Grug begged for his life and was spared. After a brief negotiation in which Grug offered a belt of Giant's Strength to the group in exchange for his life and safe harbor. The Seven directed him to Esther Bitteroot who he gladly made his way to. Esther gladly welcomed him in and performed a ritual that permanently bonded the Headband of Intelligence he wore to him, thus making it unable to be taken from him.
The ritual had another motive, changing his appearance to that more commonly associated with a Golaith, so that he may roam cities without fear of persecution. As Esther's camp traveled to the north and entered the Roost, Grug was fascinated by the Kobold's firearms and began studying them and constructed his own, modified for his size and strength of course. The result was a portable cannon, wieldable by the ogre and none other, to which he used during great effect during the siege of the Roost, Saving Dan Eld from being eaten by the Adult White dragon Terrorfrost.
Grug and the other members of Esther's small tribe have split up to gather the ingridients she requires to cure the injured Bahahmut and Brenzan, with Grug Roaming the southern continent and trading with the tribes there in.
