Quinn, God of the Forge
Quinn is the Imperial God of the Forge. His true form is nearly destroyed as the conditions surrounding his ascension. He was a Smith's apprentice and they were visiting a mine for ore when barrels of blasting powder accidentally ignited. The explosion destroyed the mine and broke Quinn's form as he was thrust through a rift into the Divine Spring. The result was a perpetual state of agony as what remained of his body was left alive and his spirit was bound to it. If he appears to mortals in his full divine form then he appears as a human male with his body in perpetual flames with his head being simply a burning flame.
Had he been left alone after his ascension he may have gone mad or tried to end his own suffering, but such was not the case. When he returned from the spring he found that the village he had been in was under attack. He could not fight in his state, his body would give way under the strain... so he did what he had been trained to. He used the materials on hand and began to forge weapons and armor for the townspeople. With the arms he forged they were able to fend off the attack. When the battle was done he forged himself a body, a shell for his spirit to reside within. This shell is the form most familiar to those in the Empire.
Quinn is uninterested in the Imperium's Wars. In truth he would have liked to side with Sarissa, whom he he fancies. But had he done so he would have left the vast majority of the Imperium in ruins, he is the god of the Forge and he aids all those who smith whether they are weaponsmiths or simple village smiths. The other gods of the Imperium would have barred his presence had he sided with the Alliance, and so he stayed in the Empire that he disagreed with so.
Quinn hides himself within his own plane, occasionally sending out automatons to his friends outside the Imperium, usually mechanical Angels to Sarissa or Warforged to Garn Zoren.
