Red Dragons

Red Dragons were among the most hated when Tiamat was banished, viewing themselves as lords or kings with no higher power to answer to. They were routed almost entirely by the Gold Dragons led by Galaphael the Brilliant. They ran to the Plane of Fire and beyond to escape the onslaught and only a few have dared return to the Wilds of the Material Plane. 
Those who reside on the plane of fire are either little more than rabid beasts or have submitted themselves to new masters within the City of Brass. The once Majestic and mighty Red Dragons now act as beggars and whores in a city of elementals and Giants their most hated enemy. They live in small groups within the slums of the city and as a result have become the most communal of Dragons, sharing what they have to survive and their innate greed has waned through the centuries. Those who live within the City of Brass scorn Tiamat and while they do not worship Bahamut they have begun to follow his teachings.
Those that remain or returned to the Material Plane are little better off, scrounging for scraps among the wildlands as they are hunted on sight if they are found. It is a miserable existence for them.
