The Ritual of Remaking

The art of Remaking oneself is a process that few in history have undergone, with Messaria being the primary example.
Remaking oneself requires the god in question to desire a change to themself that is nearly wholly antithetical to their current state, such as Messaria being a violence hungry monster during the latter stages of the Purge War but desiring to be the Goddess of Peace following its conclusion. The process leaves oneself vulnerable for a lengthy period and is excruciatingly painful, with The Pale Lady describing it as being submerged in molten steel for months.
This ritual is rarely performed as it can risk driving away followers of the god and therefore weakening them.
